Crunchyroll Expo Announces Yuu Asakawa as Guest

Crunchyroll has announced that voice actress Yuu Asakawa will be a guest at this year’s Crunchyroll Expo.

Asakawa’s credits include Love Hina‘s Motoko, Azumanga Daioh‘s Sakaki, Bubblegum Crisis 2040‘s Priss, Amagami SS‘s Hibiki, Akame ga KILL!‘s Leone, and Fate/stay night‘s Rider. She has performed theme songs for Bubblegum Crisis 2040, the Love Hina X’mas Special – Silent Eve, and Majikoi – Oh! Samurai Girls.

Crunchyroll Expo will take place at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center in California from August 30-September 1, 2019.

Anirevo to Host Voice Actors Yuu Asakawa, Nobuyuki Hiyama, and Minami Takahashi

Vancouver convention Anirevo has announced that it will host voice actors and actresses Yuu Asakawa, Nobuyuki Hiyama, and Minami Takahashi at this year’s event. The convention also announced that sound director Takeshi Takadera will attend the con.

Asakawa has voiced roles in more than 70 anime titles, including Love Hina (Motoko), Azumanga Daioh (Sakaki), Bubblegum Crisis 2040 (Priss), and Amagami SS (Hibiki). Asakawa sang theme songs for Bubblegum Crisis 2040, the Love Hina X’mas Special – Silent Eve, and Majikoi – Oh! Samurai Girls.

Hiyama is the voice of Kill la Kill‘s Uzu Sanageyama and Yū Yū Hakusho‘s Hiei.

Takahashi provided the voice for Kuroka in High School DxD, Megumi Tadokoro in Food Wars: Shokugeki no Sōma and Rumina Rikyū in Mikagura School Suite. At the convention, she will join Takadera for a live voice recording session.

Anirevo will take place August 14-16, 2015 at the Vancouver Convention Centre in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Anime Boston Announces Three Guests

Anime Boston has announced that anime voice actresses Yuko Minaguchi and Yuu Asakawa, and anime writer Dai Sato will be guests at their next convention.

Minaguchi’s credits include Sailor Saturn in Sailor Moon, Videl in Dragon Ball Z, Akiko Minase in Kanon, and Ringo in Casshern Sins. Asakawa’s credits include Priss in Bubblegum Crisis: Tokyo 2040, Motoko Aoyama in Love Hina, Itoko Osakabe in School Rumble, and Satsuki Shinonome in Love, Election, and Chocolate. Sato’s credits include Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Ergo Proxy, Space Dandy, and Fuun Ishin Dai Shogun.

Anime Boston will be taking place March 21-23, 2014 at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, Massachusetts.

Calgary’s Otafest Announces Yuu Asakawa as Guest

Calgary’s Otafest has announced that Japanese anime voice actress Yuu Asakawa will be a guest at their next convention. Asakawa’s credits include Motoko in Love Hina, Priss in Bubblegum Crisis 2040, Sakaki in Azumanga Daioh, and Hibiki in Amagami SS. In addition, Asakawa has also performed the theme songs for Bubblegum Crisis 2040, the Love Hina X’mas Special – Silent Eve, and Majikoi – Oh! Samurai Girls.

Otafest will be taking place in May 2014.

Anime Central has announced that Yuu Asakawa will be a guest at their next convention. Asakawa’s credits include Priss in Bubblegum Crisis: Tokyo 2040, Motoko Aoyama in Love Hina, Itoko Osakabe in School Rumble, and Shiryuu Choun in Ikki Tousen.

Anime Central is taking place May 17-19, 2013 at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare in Rosemont, Illinois.
