Terra Formars Manga to Go Back on Indefinite Hiatus After Three Weeks

This year’s 52nd issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump has announced Yū Sasuga and Kenichi Tachibana’s Terra Formars manga will go on hiatus beginning with the magazine’s first 2019 issue, due to Sasuga’s recovery from recent health issues. The magazine will announce the manga’s return in a later issue. The manga only recently returned from another hiatus from September 13, 2018 to November 15, 2018, which was also due to Sasuga’s health issues. The manga also went on hiatus in March 2017 due to Sasuga’s health, and resumed earlier this year on April 26, 2018.

This year’s 41st issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump has announced that Yū Sasuga and Kenichi Tachibana’s Terra Formars manga has gone on hiatus and will return in the magazine’s 50th issue on November 15, 2018, due to Sasuga’s health issues. The manga notes that Sasuga is recovering and is willing to write the next chapter, but decided to take no chances and postponed the manga’s return to November 2018. The manga recently resumed on April 26, 2018, after entering a hiatus in March 2017, which was also due to Sasuga’s health.

Yū Sasuga and Kenichi Tachibana’s Terra Formars manga will resume in the combined 21st and 22nd issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump magazine on April 26, 2018. The manga has been in on hiatus since March 2017 while story creator Sasuga recuperated from unspecified health issues.

Sasuga and Tachibana launched Terra Formars in 2011. VIZ Media is publishing the manga in English in North America.

The official Twitter account for Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump magazine has announced Yū Sasuga and Kenichi Tachibana plan to resume their Terra Formars manga in April 2018. The manga has been on hiatus since this year’s 15th issue on March 9, 2017, while story creator Sasuga recuperates from unspecified health issues. The Twitter account reports that the creator is back in good health.
