VIZ Media to Livestream Three Seasons of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure on Twitch

VIZ Media announces the debut of the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure anime streaming event on Twitch, the world’s leading social video service and online community for gamers.

The first three seasons of the multigenerational action adventure property will stream from August 13, 2018 through August 25, 2018 on VIZ Media’s Twitch channel: The 113 episodes on Twitch constitute the first three seasons and multiple story arcs of the series (Phantom Blood, Battle Tendency, Stardust Crusaders, and Diamond IS Unbreakable). Fans can enjoy the subtitled stream and interact with the vast online community starting at 10 a.m. PST each day with an encore broadcast of the stream at 3 p.m. PST. The stream will only be available for audiences in US and Canada.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is based on Hirohiko Araki’s critically acclaimed Shonen Jump manga series that depicts the multigenerational exploits of the heroic Joestar family and their never-ending battle against evil.

Twitch Partners with Crunchyroll for First Ever Anime Marathon

Twitch has announced a partnership with Crunchyroll to host a 5-day marathon spanning more than 15 different anime series. The Crunchyroll anime marathon will feature episodes from series such as Yuri!!! on Ice, Mob Psycho 100, Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid, and Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers. The marathon began on July 27, 2017 at 3:30 pm PT and will run until August 1, 2017. The marathon will air on, Twitch’s channel for programmatic content.

To celebrate the marathon, Twitch will release brand new, exclusive emotes themed after some of the featured series. Emotes will be accessible to viewers who subscribe to the TwitchPresents channel.
