Toonami to Premiere the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind Anime on October 26, 2019

VIZ Media announced during its Shonen Jump panel at New York Comic Con that Adult Swim’s Toonami programming block will premiere the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind anime on October 26, 2019 with an English dub.

The dub cast includes:

  • Phillip Reich is Giorno Giovanna
  • Ray Chase is Bruno Bucciarati
  • Mick Lauer is Leone Abbacchio
  • Sean Chiplock is Guido Mista
  • Kyle McCarley is Narancia Ghirga
  • Ethan Murray is Pannacotta Fugo

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind premiered in Japan in October 2018, and Crunchyroll simulcast the series as it aired. VIZ Media has the license for the anime.

Toonami to Premiere the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Anime on October 12, 2019

Adult Swim’s Toonami programming block has announced that the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba television anime will premiere on October 12, 2019.

Aniplex of America announced in July 2019 that the anime will premiere on Toonami with an English dub.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba premiered on April 6, 2019, and Aniplex of America licensed the series. The show is streaming on Hulu, Crunchyroll, and FunimationNow.

Toonami to Premiere One-Punch Man Season 2 on October 12, 2019

Adult Swim’s Toonami programming block has announced that the second season of the One-Punch Man anime will premiere on Toonami on October 12, 2019.

The new season began with a television special on April 2, 2019, then the first episode premiered in Japan on April 9, 2019. VIZ Media acquired the master license to the second anime season, which includes digital streaming, TV broadcast, electronic sell-through, home media, and merchandising rights for North America, Latin America and Oceania. The company simulcast the series with English subtitles as a Hulu exclusive.

Adult Swim’s Toonami programming block has announced that the Dr. Stone anime will premiere on Toonami on August 24, 2019 at 12:00 a.m. EDT (effectively August 25, 2019).

Toonami will have the following schedule on that day:

11:00 p.m. – Dragon Ball Super
11:30 p.m. – gen:LOCK
12:00 a.m. – Dr. Stone
12:30 a.m. – Fire Force
1:00 a.m. – Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma
1:30 a.m. – Black Clover
2:00 a.m. – Boruto: Naruto Next Generations

Fire Force to Debut on Toonami on July 27, 2019

Adult Swim’s Toonami programming block has announced that the Fire Force (En En no Shōbōtai) anime will premiere on Toonami on July 27, 2019 at 12:00 a.m. EDT (effectively July 28, 2019).

The anime’s official website announced that the planned airing and streaming of the show’s third episode, which was planned to air late at night on July 20, 2019, has been halted. The website stated it will reveal more information about the future broadcast of the show at a later date. Jason DeMarco, senior vice-president and creative director for Adult Swim, said on Twitter, “we will deal with delays if and when we have to.”

FUNimation Entertainment is streaming the television anime on its FunimationNOW streaming service, and is also streaming an English dub. Crunchyroll is also streaming the series.

Fire Force premiered on July 5, 2019, and it is planned to have 24 episodes.

The official Facebook account for Adult Swim’s Toonami block has announced that it will be premiering the Food Wars! anime on July 6, 2019.

Toonami will have the following schedule on that day:

  • 11:30 p.m. – Attack on Titan
  • 12:00 a.m. – Sword Art Online: Alicization
  • 12:30 a.m. – Lupin the Third: Part 5
  • 1:00 a.m. – Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma
  • 1:30 a.m. – Black Clover
  • 2:00 a.m. – Boruto: Naruto Next Generations

One Piece to Return to Adult Swim’s Toonami Block in Summer 2019

FUNimation is proud to announce that Season 15 of One Piece has been licensed for broadcast and is set to premiere on Adult Swim’s “TOONAMI” block in Summer 2019. Look forward for more information regarding the premiere at a later date.
