The Ancient Magus’ Bride to Get Two Spin-off Manga

The official website for The Ancient Magus’ Bride manga has announced that the series is inspiring two spin-off manga in the Manga Door app for iOS and Android devices. Yū Godai is providing the story for the Mahō Tsukai no Yome Shihen.75 Inazuma Jack to Yōsei Jiken (The Ancient Magus’ Bride Psalm 75: Jack the Flash and the Fairy Incident) manga, and Mako Oikawa is illustrating the manga. Makoto Sanda is providing the story for the Mahō Tsukai no Yome Shihen.108 Majutsushi no Ao (The Ancient Magus’ Bride Psalm 108: The Magician’s Blue) manga, and Isuo Tsukumo is providing the art. Kore Yamazaki is supervising both spin-offs, and they are scheduled to launch in the app in early April 2019.

Yamazaki launched the manga in Mag Garden’s Monthly Comic Blade magazine in 2013 but the magazine ceased publication in September 2014. The manga then moved to the publisher’s Monthly Comic Garden magazine.

Crunchyroll Announces Foreign Language Dubs

Crunchyroll has announced that the site will add foreign language dubs for the following anime on January 15, 2019:

  • KonoSuba – God’s blessing on this wonderful world!! – English, Spanish, and Portuguese
  • In Another World With My Smartphone – German, Spanish, French, and Portuguese
  • Interviews with Monster Girls – Spanish and Portuguese
  • Joker Game – Spanish, French, and Portuguese
  • Orange – Spanish, French, and Portuguese
  • Recovery of an MMO Junkie – Spanish, French, Portuguese, and German
  • The Ancient Magus’ Bride – German, Spanish, and Portuguese

All of the dubs are exclusive to Crunchyroll.

FUNimation Entertainment’s Announcements at New York Comic Con

FUNimation announced the following during their panel at New York Comic Con:

  • The company will premiere Anemone/Eureka Hi-Evolution (Anemone: Kōkyōshihen Eureka Seven Hi-Evolution), the second film in the Eureka Seven: Hi – Evolution film trilogy, in theaters in 2019.
  • The company announced that it will release the first 12 episodes of The Ancient Magus’ Bride on Blu-ray Disc, DVD, and Digital on January 29, 2019. The release will include the three-episode original video anime (OVA) The Ancient Magus’ Bride: Those Awaiting a Star.
  • It was also announced that the company plans to release the complete Citrus series on home video on January 22, 2019.

  • Blend-S – launches on October 7, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. EDT for members in North America, Central America, South America, Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and Ireland.
