Anime Expo Announces Manabu Ono and Shingo Adachi as Guests

Anime Expo has announced that director Manabu Ono and character designer/chief animation director Shingo Adachi will be guest at their upcoming convention. They will participate in a panel for Sword Art Online: Alicization that will also have the dub cast Cherami Leigh (Asuna), Bryce Papenbrook (Kirito), and Alex Von David (voice director, ADR script writer) as participants.

The convention also announced that producer Junichiro Tsuchiya will join the Sailor Moon panel.

Anime Expo also announced that a “Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story at Anime Expo” panel will feature special guests Emiri Katō (voice of Kyubey) and Chiwa Saito (voice actress of Homura Akemi).

Anime Expo will be taking place July 4-7, 2019 at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, California.

Japanese Guests Announced for Animazement

Animazement has announced that voice actress Aya Hirano, animator Shingo Adachi, and Aniplex producer Shinichiro Kashiwada will be guests at their upcoming convention.

Hirano’s credits include The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Kiddy Grade, Death Note, Fairy Tail, Eyeshield 21, Parasyte -the maxim-, and Gatchaman Crowds.

Adachi’s credits include Sword Art Online, Wagnaria!!, and Galilei Donna.

Kashiwada’s credits include Sword Art Online, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Oreimo, World Conquest Zvezda Plot, The irregular at magic high school, and Nanana’s Buried Treasure.

Animazement will be taking place May 27-29, 2016 at the Raleigh Convention Center in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Sakura-Con Announces Four More Guests

Sakura-Con has announced the following guests for their next convention:

  • Director Tomohiko Ito

Ito’s credits include Sword Art Online, Occult Academy, and Silver Spoon.

Adachi’s credits include Sword Art Online, Wagnaria!!, and several Megaman anime words.

Masunari’s credits include Magi, Read or Die, Welcome to the Space Show, and Photon: The Idiot Adventures.

Akai’s credits include Magi, Sound of the Sky, Kokoro Connect, and Oreimo 2.

Sakura-Con will be taking place April 18-20, 2014 in Seattle, Washington.

Otakon Announces Two Guests

Otakon has announced that animators/character designers Shingo Adachi and Tetsuya Kawakami will be guests at their next convention. Adachi’s credits include the Megaman franchise, Wagnaria!!, and Shuffle! Kawakami’s credits include Sword Art Online, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and Oreimo.

Otakon will be taking place August 9-11, 2013 at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, Maryland.
