Crunchyroll Is Streaming the English Dub for the Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers Anime

Crunchyroll has announced that it is streaming an English dub for the Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers anime. The dub is available worldwide except in Asia.

U.K. anime distributor Anime Limited released the anime on home video in May 2018 with an English dub. Crunchyroll announced in November 2018 that the anime would also have an English dub available on its service.

U.K. anime distributor Anime Limited also announced that it will release the Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers anime on DVD and Blu-ray Disc on May 28, 2018.

Crunchyroll’s Foreign Language Dubs to Launch on November 16, 2017

Crunchyroll has announced that its foreign-language dubs for Schwarzes Marken, Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches, and Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers will launch on November 16, 2017 for members and November 23, 2017 for free users. All three titles will be available in Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, and German.

Crunchyroll also clarified the regional availability for the dubs. The Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers dubs will be available worldwide outside of Asia while Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches will be available in the United States, Canada, Central and South America (including the Caribbean), South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa.

Regional availability for the Schwarzes Marken dubs will be based on language. Crunchyroll noted that the Spanish dub will be available in Latin America, the Portuguese dub in Brazil, and the French and German dubs in French- and German-speaking territories.

PONYCAN USA Outlines Their Home Video Release for Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers

PONYCAN USA announced at its Anime Weekend Atlanta panel that it will release Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers in three video sets. The first set will ship on December 10, 2015, the second set will ship on February 10, 2016, and the third set will ship on April 10, 2016. Right Stuf will begin taking pre-orders for the first set on October 10, 2015. PONYCAN USA noted that it will announce more details about the release at a later date.

Cast Announcement for Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers

The official Japanese and English websites for the television anime adaptation of Ishio Yamagata’s Rokka no Yūsha (Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers) fantasy light novel series have revealed the show’s cast.

Cast members include:

  • Sōma Saitō is Adlet
  • Yōko Hikasa is Nachetanya/Nachetania
  • Aoi Yūki is Flamie/Fremie
  • Kenichi Suzumura is Hans
  • Rina Satou is Maura
  • Ai Kakuma is Chamot
  • Kouki Uchiyama is Goldov

Passione is animating the series, and Takeo Takahashi is directing. Tatsuhiko Urahata is writing the scripts, Sayaka Koiso is designing the characters, and Michiru Oshima is composing the soundtrack.

Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers is scheduled to debut on Japanese television in July 2015.

Pony Canyon USA Announces Localization Plans

Pony Canyon USA announced at the company’s Sakura-Con panel that it will localize Kyoto Animation’s Sound! Euphonium, Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers, and the Lance ‘N Masques television series, as well as the Garakowa (Vitreous Flower & Destroy the World) anime film. PonyCan stated there are plans to dub all the series in English, but it depends on each title’s performance.

Producer Yasushi Miwa confirmed that Sound! Euphonium will stream on Crunchyroll beginning in April 2015. Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers is scheduled to debut in Summer 2015. A premiere date for Lance N’ Masques has not been announced. Vitreous Flower & Destroy the World is scheduled to screen in Japanese theaters sometime in 2015.
