Saki Manga to Get a Gourmet Spin-off Manga in June 2019

This year’s ninth issue of Square Enix’s Young Gangan magazine has announced that Ritz Kobayashi and Meki Meki will collaborate on Someya Mako no Jansō Meshi (“Mako Someya’s Mahjong Parlor Meal”), the latest spin-off manga of Kobayashi’s Saki manga. The spin-off focuses on Mako Someya, a member of the mahjong team at Kiyosumi High, and her combination of mahjong parlors and gourmet. The manga will debut in the magazine on June 7, 2019.

Ritz Kobayashi’s Saki manga went on hiatus in March 2019 starting in this year’s seventh issue of Young Gangan. The manga will resume in the magazine in the 11th issue, which will ship on May 17, 2019.

Saki Manga to Go on Hiatus Until May 2019

This year’s fifth issue of Square Enix’s Young Gangan magazine has announced that Ritz Kobayashi’s Saki manga will go on hiatus from the seventh to the 10th issues. The manga will resume in the magazine in the 11th issue, which will ship on May 17, 2019.

The series had previous two-month breaks, with the most recent break being from August through October 2018.

Kobayashi launched the manga in the magazine in 2006, and Square Enix published the 18th compiled volume on October 25, 2018.

Saki Manga to Go on Hiatus Until October 2018

This year’s 15th issue of Square Enix’s Young Gangan magazine has announced that Ritz Kobayashi’s Saki manga will go on hiatus from the 17th to the 20th issues. The manga will resume in the magazine in the 21st issue, which will ship on October 19, 2018.

The series had previous two-month breaks from July to September 2017, and from October to December 2016.

Kobayashi launched Saki in Young Gangan in 2006, and Square Enix published the 17th compiled volume on November 25, 2017.

Saki Manga Will Be Going on a Two-Month Hiatus

This year’s 14th issue of Square Enix’s Young Gangan magazine has announced that Ritz Kobayashi’s Saki manga is going on hiatus from the next issue, which will ship on July 21, 2017, to the 18th issue, which will ship on September 1, 2017. The manga will resume in the magazine’s 19th issue on September 15, 2017.

The manga also had a two-month break from October to December of 2016.

Kobayashi launched the manga in the magazine in 2006, and Square Enix published the 16th compiled volume on December 24, 2016. The manga has since inspired five spin-off manga series.
