Animate USA Is Hosting a Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Promotional Event

The Re:ZERO anime is based on the currently running light novel series by Tappei Nagatsuki. The first season of the anime adaptation aired from April-September 2016 and was a hit with fans and critics alike. The long-awaited first half of the second season ran from July-September 2020, with the second half airing from January-March 2021.

Enter a New World of Fantasy and Magic in a Collaboration Between The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross and Popular Isekai Anime Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World

The update on May 11, 2021 for Netmarble’s cinematic adventure role-playing game (RPG) The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross opens up a new world for players, joining Meliodas and the rest of The Seven Deadly Sins to enter the Dragon Kingdom of Lugunica and assist key heroes from the popular isekai anime Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World-. All players who log into the game from May 11, 2021 through May 25, 2021 will be eligible to receive up to 10 tickets for free that can be exchanged for a chance to receive the limited-time Re:Zero collaboration heroes.

Starting on May 11, 2021, players will have the opportunity to recruit four fan-favorite heroes from the Re:Zero anime series, such as Emilia, Ram, Rem, and Beatrice. All four characters are available to be collected via the limited-time pickup draw, where a player can choose one of the collaboration heroes for free if they receive 600 mileages.

Knights will learn more about the world of Re:Zero in a special World Quest and team up with the heroes of Re:Zero to take on Petelgeuse in a limited-time Death Match – all for high-value rewards that can be redeemed via The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross‘s Exchange Shop. Other in-game events open to players include a Special Mission Event where players can collect Ram by completing various missions, and a Bingo Event where players can collect costumes for the limited-time Re:Zero heroes by completing the event board.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross translates the storytelling and adventures of The Seven Deadly Sins into a highly engaging and entertaining mobile gaming experience, featuring stunning, high-resolution 3D graphics, with more than 150 characters, 200 costumes, and 200 dramatic cutscenes. The game is brought to life with the cast of the original Japanese voice actors reprising their characters. Crunchyroll Announces Spring 2021 Anime Dubs

Crunchyroll has announced that there will be dubs in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, and German for Tokyo Revengers, To Your Eternity, I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years, and the continuation of So I’m a Spider, So What?. There is also an English dub on the way for Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun Season 2.

Crunchyroll has announced that it will stream dubs in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, and German for the following anime:

HBO Max Announces Anime Additions for January 2021

Warner Media has announced that HBO Max will add the following anime to its lineup in January 2021:

  • Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Director’s Cut Season 1 (dubbed version to be added on January 15, 2021)

The service will also add the 2013 The Kingdom of Dreams and Madness documentary about Studio Ghibli and the 2016 Never-Ending Man: Hayao Miyazaki documentary on January 12, 2021. The service will also add both films in the Kill Bill film series on January 16, 2021.

Crunchyroll Announces Two More Anime Streams

Crunchyroll has announced that it will begin streaming the Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- The Frozen Bond (Re:Zero Hyōketsu no Kizuna) original video anime (OVA) and the Shadowverse anime in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and the Commonwealth of Independent States.

Crunchyroll will stream the Re:Zero Hyōketsu no Kizuna OVA with subtitles on on April 30, 2020. An English dub will premiere at a later date.

The site will begin streaming the Shadowverse anime on April 7, 2020 at 6:00 a.m. EDT.

The staff explained that “the global issues of the COVID-19 coronavirus illness have had a big effect on the production” of the show. The staff will reveal the new start date, time, and channels at a later date.
