Anime Matsuri Announces Nobuhiko Okamoto and Aina Kusuda as Guests

Anime Matsuri has announced that anime voice actor Nobuhiko Okamoto and voice actress Aina Kusuda will be guests at its upcoming convention.

Okamoto voices Katsuki Bakugō in My Hero Academia, Rin Okumura in Blue Exorcist, Accelerator in A Certain Magical Index, Ryō Kurokiba in Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma, Yū Nishinoya in Haikyu!!, Rui Tatsumi in STARMYU, Jun Arashiyama in World Trigger, Obi in Snow White with the Red Hair, Mikorin in Monthly Girls’ Nozaki-kun, Eiji Niizuma in Bakuman., Ghiaccio in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind, and Karma Akabane in Assassination Classroom.

Kusuda’s credits include Nozomi Tōjō in the Love Live! School idol Project anime and game franchise, Rose in the Rilu Rilu Fairilu ~Yōsei no Door~ anime series and sequels, Sūko in Million Doll, Mari in Ladyspo, Delilah in GATE, and Eiko in PriPara.

Anime Matsuri will be taking place June 13-16, 2019 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas.

Nobuhiko Okamoto Cast as Katsuki Bakugō in the My Hero Academia Anime

This year’s 53rd issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is announcing that Nobuhiko Okamoto will voice Katsuki Bakugō in the television anime of Kōhei Horikoshi’s My Hero Academia manga.

Kenji Nagasaki is directing the anime at the studio BONES. Yousuke Kuroda is overseeing the series’ scripts. Yoshihiko Umakoshi is designing the characters for animation.
