Muhyo & Roji’s Bureau of Supernatural Investigation Sequel Manga Ends

Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ manga site has published the 19th and final chapter of Yoshiyuki Nishi’s Muhyo to Roji no Mahōritsu Sōdan Jimusho: Mazoku Magushi-hen (Muhyo & Roji’s Bureau of Supernatural Investigation: Magical Genus Magic Tool Master Chapter) manga.

The manga follows Muhyo and his friends after they have grown a little after the conclusion of the first series.

The manga is a sequel to Nishi’s Muhyo to Roji no Mahōritsu Sōdan Jimusho (Muhyo & Roji’s Bureau of Supernatural Investigation) manga, and launched on Shonen Jump+ in March 2018. Shueisha published the manga’s first compiled book volume in August 2018.

Six more cast members have been announced for the forthcoming new Muhyo & Roji’s Bureau of Supernatural Investigation anime:

  • Tetsuharu Ohta is Tiki
  • Kōhei Amasaki is Kenji
  • Yōji Ueda is Maeda
  • Ami Koshimizu is Furuya
  • Kazumasa Fukagawa is Iwamoto
  • Kyousuke Ikeda is Fujiwara

Nobuhiro Kondo is directing the anime at Studio DEEN. Yasuyuki Suzuki is writing the scripts. Kouichiro Kawano is designing the characters. Ryo Kawasaki is composing the music.

SCREEN mode is performing the opening theme song “Gifted,” and ORESAMA is performing the ending theme song “Hotohashiru.”

The new Muhyo & Roji’s Bureau of Supernatural Investigation anime is scheduled to premiere on Japanese television on August 3, 2018.

Staff and Cast Announced for the New Muhyo & Roji’s Bureau of Supernatural Investigation Anime

A staff and cast announcement have been made for the forthcoming new anime adaptation of the Muhyo & Roji’s Bureau of Supernatural Investigation manga.

Nobuhiro Kondo is directing the anime at Studio DEEN. Yasuyuki Suzuki is writing the scripts. Kouichiro Kawano is designing the characters. Married couple Kazuko Tadano and Hiromi Matsushita are the chief animation directors, and Ryo Kawasaki is composing the music.

The cast includes:

  • Ayumu Murase is Tōru Muhyō
  • Yuu Hayashi is Jirō “Roji” Kusano
  • Tetsuya Kakihara is Yōichi Himukai
  • Hiroshi Kamiya is Soratsugu Madoka

The anime is scheduled to premiere on Japanese television in Summer 2018.

Muhyo & Roji’s Bureau of Supernatural Investigation Sequel and Godzilla: Planet of Monsters Manga Scheduled for March 2018 on Shonen Jump +

The official website for the Shonen Jump + web magazine has announced that it will launch the new Muhyo & Roji’s Bureau of Supernatural Investigation sequel manga on March 19, 2018 and the Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters manga adaptation on March 29, 2018.

The website revealed that the new Muhyo and Roji sequel is titled Muhyo to Roji no Mahōritsu Sōdan Jimusho: Mazoku Magushi-hen (Muhyo & Roji’s Bureau of Supernatural Investigation: Magical Genus Magic Tool Master Chapter). Original creator Yoshiyuki Nishi is drawing the series, and it will follow Muhyo and his friends after they have grown a little after the conclusion of the first series. The original manga ran in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from 2004 to 2008.

Youth Kurahashi is drawing the Godzilla: Kaijū Wakusei (Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters) manga based on the anime film of the same name. The film, the first in a trilogy, opened in Japanese theaters on November 17, 2017 and began streaming on Netflix worldwide on January 17, 2018. The manga will cover story material not in the anime, add original elements, and offer a glimpse into the “surprising past” of the characters.

Muhyo & Roji’s Bureau of Supernatural Investigation Manga to Get Sequel in Spring 2018

Yoshiyuki Nishi will launch a sequel to his Muhyo to Roji no Mahōritsu Sōdan Jimusho (Muhyo & Roji’s Bureau of Supernatural Investigation) manga on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ manga website and app in Spring 2018. The sequel will follow Muhyo and his friends after they have grown a little after the conclusion of the first series.

The series ran in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from 2004 to 2008. Shueisha published 18 compiled book volumes and 10 trade paperback (bunko) volumes for the series. VIZ Media released all 18 volumes of the manga physically and digitally in North America.
