Crunchyroll and FUNimation Entertainment Streaming the English Dub of the Mob Psycho 100 Reigen OVA

FUNimation Entertainment has announced that it has re-added the first season of Mob Psycho 100 with an English dub, and it has added the Mob Psycho 100 REIGEN: The Miraculous Unknown Psychic OVA with an English dub. Additionally, FUNimation said it plans to stream the English dub of Mob Psycho 100 II starting on April 25, 2019.

Crunchyroll also announced on that it will stream the English dub for Mob Psycho 100 II, and that it has added the English dub for the first season of the anime as well as the English dub of the Mob Psycho 100 REIGEN: The Miraculous Unknown Psychic OVA.

Both companies had previously announced in December 2019 that they would stream an English dub for Mob Psycho 100 II.

Crunchyroll and FUNimation Entertainment to Stream the Mob Psycho 100 II English Dub and The Morose Mononokean II Anime

FUNimation Entertainment and Crunchyroll have announced that they will both stream an English dub for the Mob Psycho 100 II anime for the Winter 2019 season. Both streaming platforms also announced plans to simulcast The Morose Mononokean II anime, though Crunchyroll’s stream will be English-subtitled and FUNimation’s will be English-dubbed.

Crunchyroll is producing the dub for Mob Psycho 100 II while FUNimation Entertainment is producing the dub for The Morose Mononokean II.

As previously announced, Crunchyroll is also streaming Mob Psycho 100 II with English subtitles. Crunchyroll’s simulcast will begin on January 7, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. EST, and will be available worldwide outside of Asia.

Crunchyroll’s stream of The Morose Mononokean II will be available in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Netherlands, Latin America (Central and South America including the Caribbean), and German and French-speaking Europe.

The Morose Mononokean II is scheduled to premiere on Japanese television on January 5, 2019.

The First Episode of the Mob Psycho 100 II Anime Will Be Screened in U.S. Theaters

Crunchyroll has announced that it is teaming with Fathom Events for more installments in its Crunchyroll Movie Night theatrical event series in 2019. The first event for their collaboration will be a theatrical premiere of the first episode of Mob Psycho 100 II, along with the Mob Psycho 100 REIGEN: The Miraculous Unknown Psychic anime and a greeting from voice actor Setsuo Ito (Mob).

The screening will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 12:55 p.m. local time at more than 500 U.S. theaters. Tickets are on sale now for Crunchyroll subscribers and will go on sale for general audiences on December 7, 2018.

Anime NYC to Host the World Premiere of the Second Season of the Mob Psycho 100 Anime

The staff of the Anime NYC convention has announced that this year’s event will host the world premiere of Mob Psycho 100 II, the second season of BONES’ anime of ONE’s Mob Psycho 100 manga, on November 17, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. Voice actor Setsuo Ito, who plays Shigeo “Mob” Kageyama, will attend the screening. The premiere event will also show exclusive cast and staff comment videos and offer prize giveaways.

In addition, Ito will appear at a Mob Psycho 100 panel on November 16,2018 at 8:00 p.m., as well as at signings and photo ops. Ito’s other anime roles include Kai Musashikai in Anime-Gataris and Kenichi Iwami in Captain Tsubasa.

The second season of the Mob Psycho 100 anime is scheduled to premiere on Japanese television in January 2019.

Mob Psycho 100 to Join Toonami’s Lineup on October 27, 2018

The official Facebook page for Adult Swim’s Toonami programming block has announced that it is adding the first season of the Mob Psycho 100 anime its lineup on October 27, 2018 at 11:30 p.m.

Mob Psycho 100 premiered in Japan in July 2016 and Crunchyroll simulcast the series with English subtitles as it aired in Japan. FUNimation Entertainment streamed an English dub for the anime in December 2016, and released the series on home video in May 2017.

Dark Horse Comics Licenses the Mob Psycho 100 Manga

Dark Horse Comics has announced that it will release ONE’s Mob Psycho 100 manga in English. The first volume is scheduled to be released on October 24, 2018.

ONE launched the series in Ura Sunday in 2012 and later in Manga ONE in 2014. The manga ended in December 2017. Shogakukan will publish the manga’s 16th compiled book volume on May 4, 2018.
