Anime Boston Announces Mary Elizabeth McGlynn and Steve Blum as Guests

Anime Boston has announced that anime voice actors Mary Elizabeth McGlynn and Steve Blum will be guests at their upcoming convention.

McGlynn’s credits include Queen Metalia in Sailor Moon Crystal, Brooha in Glitter Force, Motoko Kusanagi in the Ghost in the Shell franchise, Cornelia in Code Geass, Kurenai in Naruto, Julia in Cowboy Bebop, Zanpakuto in Bleach, Helba and Bordeau in .hack, Jagura in Wolf’s Rain, Nuriko in Fushigi Yuugi, and Caroline in Vampire Hunter D.

Blum’s credits include Orochimaru and Zabuza in Naruto, Leeron in Gurren Lagann.

Anime Boston will be taking place March 30-April 1, 2018 at the Hynes Convention Center and Sheraton Boston Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts.

Anime Expo Announces More Guests

Anime Expo has announced that Studio Trigger staff members SUSHIO and Mai Yoneyama will be guests at their next convention. They will both participate in a panel and autograph sessions.

Yoneyama debuted as a Gainax animator for Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt, and worked as an animation director for Black Rock Shooter, Sword Art Online, and Kill la Kill. She also served as the character designer and lead animation director for Kiznaiver.

SUSHIO worked for Gainax before working at Studio Trigger. At Gainax, he served as a key animator for Gurren Lagann and Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt, among other titles. At Trigger, he served as the character designer and chief animation director for Kill la Kill, and the lead animator for Kiznaiver.

Anime Expo has also announced that the main English voice cast for Cowboy Bebop will participate in the “Cowboy Bebop Jazz Cat Experience” event featuring music, storytelling, and visual performances. The voice cast participating include: Steve Blum (Spike Spiegel), Mary Elizabeth McGlynn (Julia), Melissa Fahn (Ed), Wendee Lee (Faye Valentine), and Beau Billingslea (Jet Black). Voice actor Tony Oliver will MC a panel with the cast on July 4, 2016.

Anime Expo will be taking place July 1-4, 2016 in Los Angeles, California.

Otakon Vegas Announces Mary Elizabeth McGlynn as Guest

Otakorp, Inc. has announced that anime voice actress Mary Elizabeth McGlynn will be a guest at Otakon Vegas 2015. McGlynn’s credits include Major Motoko Kusanagi in Ghost in the Shell: Innocence, Solid State Society and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Kurenai in Naruto, Jagura in Wolf’s Rain, and Nuriko in Fushigi Yuugi.

Otakon Vegas is taking place January 16-18, 2015 at the Planet Hollywood Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Florida Anime Experience Announces Two Guests

Florida Anime Experience has announced that voice actors Mary Elizabeth McGlynn and Richard Epcar will be guests at their next convention. McGlynn’s credits include Motoko Kusanagi in Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Kurenai in Naruto, and Julia from Cowboy Bebop. Epcar’s credits include Batou in Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Ben Dixon and Lunk in Robotech, and Kyouji Koriyama and Noein in Noein: To Your Other Self.

Florida Anime Experience will be taking place May 23-25, 2014 at the International Palms Resort and Conference Center in Orlando, Florida.

Otakon Vegas has announced that Mary Elizabeth McGlynn will be a guest at their first convention. McGlynn’s anime voice acting credits include Major Motoko Kusanagi in Ghost in the Shell: Innocence, Cornelia in Code Geass, Kurenai in Naruto, and Julia in Cowboy Bebop. As a director, McGlynn’s credits include Naruto, Cowboy Bebop, Wolf’s Rain, and the CG animated Appleseed film.

Otakon Vegas will be taking place January 3-5, 2014 at the Planet Hollywood Casino is Las Vegas, Nevada.

Kintoki-Con Announces Guests

Kintoki-Con has announced that anime voice actors Richard Epcar and Mary Elizabeth McGlynn will be guests at their next convention. Epcar has provided voices for such anime as Bleach, Naruto, Noein to Your Other Self, and Robotech. McGlynn has provided voices for such anime as Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, Cowboy Bebop, Naruto, and Outlaw Star.

Kintoki-Con will be taking place July 27-28, 2013 at the Holiday Inn – Capitol Plaza in Sacramento, California.
