HIDIVE to Stream the Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions! Take on Me Anime Film

HIDIVE has announced that it will stream the English-subtitled and English-dubbed versions of Kyoto Animation’s Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions! Take on Me (Eiga Chūnibyō demo Koi ga Shitai! Take On Me) anime film on February 18, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. EST.

The stream will be available in the United States, Canada, South America, Central America, Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, Bermuda, Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba, Virgin Islands (British), Cayman Islands, Cuba, Curacao, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Guadeloupe, Haiti, Jamaica, Martinique, Montserrat, Netherlands Antilles, Puerto Rico, Saint Barthelemy, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Martin, Saint Vincent and The Grenadines, Sint Maarten, Saint Pierre and Miquelon, Trinidad and Tobago, Turks and Caicos Islands, Virgin Islands (US), Spain, and Portugal.

Sentai Filmworks licensed the film, and partnered with the Los Angeles Anime Film Festival (LA-AFF) to screen the film during the event in September 2018. Azoland Pictures screened the film in the United States in November 2018.

The Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions! Take on Me Anime Film to Get Theatrical Screenings in the U.S. and Canada in November 2018

Azoland Pictures has announced that it will screen Kyoto Animation’s Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions! Take on Me (Eiga Chūnibyō demo Koi ga Shitai! Take On Me) anime film in select theaters in the United States and Canada starting on November 2, 2018. The partial list on Azoland Pictures’ website lists screening dates from November 3-6, 2018 in various locations. Filmgoers will receive a giveaway item while supplies last, and the screenings will be in Japanese with English subtitles.

Sentai Filmworks licensed the film, and partnered with the Los Angeles Anime Film Festival (LA-AFF) to screen the film during the event in September 2018.

The film, a sequel to the Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions! -Heart Throb- anime, opened in Japan on January 6, 2018 and earned 70,422,300 yen (about US$634,500) in its opening weekend to rank #6 at the box office.

Film Lineup Announced for the Los Angeles Anime Film Festival

The organizers of the Los Angeles Anime Film Festival (LA-AFF) have announced that this year’s event will take place from September 21-23, 2018 at Regal L.A. Live: A Barco Innovation Center. The staff also unveiled the festival’s film lineup, which includes three North American premieres: Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions! the Movie: Take on Me, Shōnen Hollywood: Holly Stage for You Complete Edition, and King of Prism: PRIDE the HERO.

Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions! the Movie: Take on Me (Eiga Chūnibyō demo Koi ga Shitai! Take On Me) will screen on opening night.

Shōnen Hollywood creator Ikuyo Hashiguchi will attend the festival for a Q&A session.

Sentai Filmworks Licenses the Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions! Take On Me Anime Film

Sentai Filmworks has announced that it has licensed the Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions! Take on Me (Eiga Chūnibyō demo Koi ga Shitai! Take On Me) anime film. The company has not yet announced how or when it plans to release the film.

Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions! Take on Me was released in Japan on January 6, 2018.

Sentai Filmworks to Dub Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions!

Sentai Filmworks has announced that it will be producing an English dub for the Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions! television anime series.

The previously announced subtitle-only release will still ship in May, but due to popular demand the company will also release a DVD, Blu-ray, and Limited Edition Numbered Premium Box Set with an English language track later this year.
