FUNimation Entertainment to Simulcast the Sword Art Online: Alicization – War of Underworld and We Never Learn Season 2 Anime

FUNimation Entertainment has announced that it will simulcast the Sword Art Online: Alicization – War of Underworld and the second season of the We Never Learn: BOKUBEN anime in Fall 2019.

The simulcast for Sword Art Online: Alicization – War of Underworld will debut on October 12, 2019 for users in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Ireland.

The simulcast for We Never Learn: BOKUBEN Season 2 will debut on October, 2019 5 for users in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Ireland.

In addition, the company revealed the debut dates and confirmed SimulDubs for some of its previously announced simulcasts, including:

  • My Hero Academia Season 4 (October 12, 2019 in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand)
  • Kono Oto Tomare!: Sounds of Life Season 2 (October 5, 2019 in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand)

FUNimation Entertainment’s Announcements at Anime Expo

FUNimation Entertainment announced at its Anime Expo panel that its streams for the Fairy gone and Kono Oto Tomare!: Sounds of Life anime will continue on for both of the shows’ second halves in Fall 2019. The company also confirmed that its stream of the upcoming fourth season of the My Hero Academia anime series will premiere in Fall 2019.

FUNimation also announced that it will release a steelbook home video release for the “first season” of Yū Yū Hakusho, and it will also release the “first season” of the new Fruits Basket anime on home video with both a standard and limited edition, with pre-orders available soon.

FUNimation Entertainment has announced that it will simulcast the Fairy gone, AFTERLOST, RobiHachi, and Kono Oto Tomare!: Sounds of Life anime on its FunimationNow streaming service during the Spring 2019 season. All four anime will have Japanese language simulcasts and English language simuldubs. These anime will stream in the following territories: United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, New Zealand, and Australia.

FUNimation will stream Fairy gone as it airs in Japan, starting on April 7, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. EDT. The simuldub will premiere on April 28, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. EDT.

The company will simulcast AFTERLOST starting on April 7, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. EDT. The simuldub premieres on April 28, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. EDT.

FUNimation will stream the RobiHachi anime as it airs in Japan, starting on April 8, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. EDT. The simuldub premieres on April 29, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. EDT.

The company began simulcasting the Kono Oto Tomare!: Sounds of Life anime on April 6, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. EDT. The simuldub debuts on April 27, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. EDT.
