Toonami to Premiere the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind Anime on October 26, 2019

VIZ Media announced during its Shonen Jump panel at New York Comic Con that Adult Swim’s Toonami programming block will premiere the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind anime on October 26, 2019 with an English dub.

The dub cast includes:

  • Ray Chase is Bruno Bucciarati
  • Mick Lauer is Leone Abbacchio
  • Sean Chiplock is Guido Mista
  • Kyle McCarley is Narancia Ghirga

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind premiered in Japan in October 2018, and Crunchyroll simulcast the series as it aired. VIZ Media has the license for the anime.

Crunchyroll Expo to Host the English Premiere of the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan “Fugō Mura” OVA

The official website for the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure anime has announced that Crunchyroll Expo will host the overseas premiere of the Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan (Kishibe Rohan wa Ugokanai) original video anime’s “Fugō Mura” (Millionaire Village) episode on August 30, 2019 at 3:30 p.m.

David Production adapted two previous Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan stories as original anime DVDs. The “Fugō Mura” episode was available for people who purchased all 13 DVD or Blu-ray Disc volumes of the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable anime in 2017. The “Mutsukabezaka” (Mutsukabe Hill) episode came with the manga’s second volume in 2018.

Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan is a series of Hirohiko Araki’s Manga one-shots starring his JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable character Rohan Kishibe, who is also Araki’s fictional alter ego.

Crunchyroll Expo will be held at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California from August 30-September 1, 2019.

VIZ Media Delivers New Anime and Manga Releases for July 2019

The home media debut of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Set 4: Diamond Is Unbreakable will be available as a special Limited Edition Blu-ray set and DVD set. Diamond Is Unbreakable continues the multi-generational tale of the Joestar family with Josuke Higashikata. In partnership with The Pokemon Company International, Pokemon The Series: Diamond and Pearl Complete Season also arrives on DVD and includes all 51 episodes of Ash’s adventures in the Sinnoh region.

New manga publishing debuts for July 2019 include the indie darling Beastars, a high school drama in which animal students grapple with the very human issues of prejudice and discrimination. The new Shojo Beat series Daytime Shooting Star centers around a love triangle that develops when a high school girl is torn between a boy in her class and her teacher.

VIZ Media Delivers New Anime and Manga Releases for May 2019

VIZ Media announces three new home media and manga publishing titles scheduled for May 2019 release.

Pokemon The Series: Sun & Moon—Ultra Adventures Complete Collection arrives on Blu-ray and DVD in May 2018. Under license from The Pokemon Company International, the collection includes all 48 episodes from Pokemon The Series: Sun & Moon—Ultra Adventures across six discs. Manga releases for May 2019 include JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Part 4 – Diamond Is Unbreakable, the latest saga of Hirohiko Araki’s award-winning multigenerational action adventure, and the new shojo series, Snow White with the Red Hair.
