J-Novel Club Licenses The Faraway Paladin, The Unwanted Undead Adventurer, Sweet Reincarnation, Marginal Operation, and Discommunication Manga

J-Novel Club has announced that it has licensed the following five manga: Mutsumi Okuhashi and Kanata Yanagino’s The Faraway Paladin (Saihate no Paladin), Haiji Nakasone and Yū Okano’s The Unwanted Undead Adventurer (Nozomanu Fushi no Bōkensha), Nozomu Koryū and Seriko Iida’s Sweet Reincarnation (Okashi na Tensei), Yūri Shibamura and Daisuke Kimura’s Marginal Operation, and Riichi Ueshiba’s Discommunication.

All except Discommunication are manga adaptations of light novels, and J-Novel Club plans to release all the manga digitally. The first chapters of all the manga except The Unwanted Undead Adventurer are available now, and J-Novel Club plans to start its release of The Unwanted Undead Adventurer manga “in just a week or two.”

J-Novel Club Licenses Three More Manga Series

J-Novel Club has announced that it has licensed the I Shall Survive Using Potions!, The Magic in this Other World is Too Far Behind!, and Animeta! manga. The first three chapters of all three series are available for free on J-Novel Club’s website.

Hibiki Kokonoe launched the manga adaptation of the I Shall Survive Using Potions! light novel series on Kodansha’s Suiyōbi no Sirius website in June 2017. Kodansha will publish the fourth compiled volume on January 9, 2019.

COMTA launched the manga adaptation of The Magic in this Other World is Too Far Behind! light novel series on Overlap’s Comic Gardo website in December 2016, and Overlap published the third compiled volume on July 25, 2018.

Yaso Hanamura launched the Animeta! manga in Kodansha’s Monthly Morning two magazine in July 2015, and Kodansha published the fourth compiled volume in October 2017.

J-Novel Club Launches Online Manga Reader and Licenses Five Manga Titles

J-Novel Club has announced that it has launched a manga reader. The company noted that the reader still has a few bugs, and it has invited readers to report bugs on its forums. The J-Novel Club app does not currently offer the manga reader, but the company said it expects to launch this functionality in two weeks.

The publisher has also announced five manga licenses:

  • A Very Fairy Apartment by Amakara Surume
  • Seirei Gensouki – Spirit Chronicles by Yuri Kitayama
  • Infinite Dendrogram by Sakon Kaidō
  • How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom by Dojyomaru
  • Ascendance of a Bookworm by Miya Kazuki

J-Novel Club will release two chapters per month for each manga.
