Isekai Quartet to Get an Anime Film in 2022

The official website for the Isekai Quartet crossover anime has announced that the series is getting an anime film in 2022.

The film will feature a returning cast and staff from the anime’s first two seasons. Minoru Ashina will write the script and direct the anime. Minoru Takehara will serve as both character designer and chief animation director. Studio Puyukai will animate the work.

Isekai Quartet is a crossover series between the Re:Zero, Overlord, KONOSUBA, and The Saga of Tanya the Evil franchises. Isekai Quartet 2 also features characters from The Rising of The Shield Hero franchise.

Crunchyroll to Simulcast the Isekai Quartet 2 Anime in the Winter 2020 Season

Crunchyroll has announced that it will simulcast the Isekai Quartet 2 anime for the Winter 2020 season. The anime will stream in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Iceland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and the Netherlands.

Isekai Quartet 2 is the second season of the Isekai Quartet anime. The series is scheduled to premiere on Japanese television on January 15, 2020.

FUNimation Entertainment has announced the following titles are being added to their Winter 2020 simulcast lineup:

If My Favorite Pop Idol Made it to the Budokan, I Would Die and Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun will stream with both subtitled and dubbed versions, but Isekai Quartet 2 will stream dubbed only.

Crunchyroll Removes the English Dubs for The Helpful Fox Senko-san, Strike Witches 501st, Isekai Quartet, Million Arthur Season 2 Anime

Crunchyroll has announced that it will remove the English dubs for The Helpful Fox Senko-san, Strike Witches: 501st JOINT FIGHTER WING Take Off!, Isekai Quartet, and Million Arthur Season 2 on August 9, 10, 11, and 17, 2019, respectively.

The English-subtitled versions of all four anime will remain on the service.

FUNimation Entertainment also streamed English dubs for all four of the anime except Million Arthur Season 2.

All four anime premiered during the Spring 2019 season.

Crunchyroll Adds the Isekai Quartet Crossover Anime

Crunchyroll has announced that it will stream the crossover anime Isekai Quartet as part of its Spring 2019 lineup.

FUNimation Entertainment is also streaming the series with English subtitles as it airs. The English dub premiered on April 23, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. EDT.

Isekai Quartet premiered in Japan on April 9, 2019. The show’s website is listing the anime with 12 episodes.
