BECK Creator Harold Sakuishi Attends New York Comic Con as ComiXology Originals Debuts An Exclusive BECK Pin and More Volumes From Kodansha Comics

Comixology Originals announces that Harold Sakuishi will be at New York Comic Con to sign free limited edition BECK pins at the Comixology Artist Alley table #1B5 in celebration of new volumes of BECK and Seven Shakespeares available now exclusively through Comixology and Kindle. Now, Comixology and Kodansha Comics have added BECK Volumes 15-22 and Seven Shakespeares Volumes 5-6, from mangaka Harold Sakuishi. These debuting manga titles are free to read for members of Amazon Prime, Kindle Unlimited, and Comixology Unlimited and also available for purchase on Kindle and Comixology.

Kodansha Comics Announces Harold Sakuishi as Guest at New York Comic Con

Kodansha Comics has announced that Harold Sakuishi will attend New York Comic Con (NYCC) this year. He will receive the Harvey Awards International Spotlight Award, which was first awarded last year to Hiro Mashima.

Kodansha Comics and Comixology publish Sakuishi’s Beck and Seven Shakespeares (7-nin no Shakespeare) manga digitally.

New York Comic Con will be taking place at the Javits Center in New York City from October 4-7, 2018.

ComiXology Debuts Beck and Seven Shakespeares Manga Digitally

Anime News Network is reporting that Comixology and Kodansha Comics will debut Harold Sakuishi’s Beck and Seven Shakespeares (7-nin no Shakespeare) manga on the service.

Comixology is debuting the first 14 volumes of Beck on July 5, 2018, and volumes 15 to 34 will debut in the next year. Comixology is also launching the first four volumes of Seven Shakespeares on July 5, 2018.

Sakuishi launched Beck in the July 1999 issue of Kodansha’s Monthly Shōnen Magazine, and ended it in 2008. Kodansha published 34 compiled book volumes for the manga. Tokyopop published 14 volumes of the manga from 2005 to 2008.

Sakuishi launched Seven Shakespeares in Shogakukan’s Big Comic Spirits magazine in December 2009, and Shogakukan published the sixth and final volume in 2011.
