Anime Boston has announced that voice actors Michelle Ruff and Greg Ayres will be guests at their upcoming convention.

Ruff’s credits include Sinon from Sword Art Online, Rukia Kuchiki from Bleach, Yoko Littner from Gurren Laggan, Fujiko Mine from Lupin the Third, Luna from Sailor Moon classic and Sailor Moon Crystal, Young Satoru in Erased, Sakuya Tachibana from God Eater, Kirari from Kakegurui, Yuki Nagato from The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya, Anri Sonohara from Durarara!!, Princess Euphemia and young Lelouch from Code Geass, and Chi from Chobits.

Ayres’ credits include Frost in Dragon Ball Super, Jiro in Concrete Revolutio, Sho Utsumi in SSSS.Gridman, Ryuuou Edogawa in Doreiku, Koji Koda in My Hero Academia, Yabase in the upcoming dub of Hitorijime My Hero, and Popuko in Pop Team Epic.

  • Helen McCarthy: Writer who researched and curated the first ever anime programme at a British convention at Eastcon 90. She also founded and edited the first regular anime newsletter in Britain, Anime UK, in 1990. McCarthy also wrote the first book in English dedicated to Japanese animation in 1993, co-authored the first book on an anime genre in 1998, and wrote the first book on a single anime director in 1990. She also co-authored The Anime Encyclopedia in 2001.

Anime-zing! has announced that anime voice actors Greg Ayres and DC Douglas will be guests at their next convention.

Ayres’ credits include Negi Springfield in Negima!, Chrono in Chrono Crusade, and Kaoru Hitachiin in Ouran High School Host Club. Douglas’ credits include Makunouchi Ippo in Hajime no Ippo – Champion Road, Shori Shibuya in Kyo kara Maoh!, and Genji Kamogawa in Fighting Spirit.

Anime-zing! will be taking place July 11-13, 2014 at the RiverCenter in downtown Davenport, Iowa.

AniMinneapolis has announced two more guests for its upcoming convention: anime voice actor Greg Ayres and English language anime director and producer Jonathan Klein.

Ayres’ credits include Chrono in Chrono Crusadem Koyuki in BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad, Kaoru Hitachiin in Ouran High School Host Club, and Negi Springfield in Negima!

Klein’s credits include Hellsing, Hellsing Ultimate, Paranoia Agent, and Texhnolyze.

AniMinneapolis will be taking place May 23-25, 2014 at the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
