Yen Press Licenses Eight Manga and Four Novels for February 2022

Yen Press has announced that it will release the following manga, light novels, and books for release in February 2022.

Title: Cross-Dressing Villainess Cecilia Sylvie manga

Yen Pres, LLC has announced a slate of upcoming titles that include the manga series When a Magician’s Pupil Smiles and Goblin Slayer Side Story II: Dai Katana and the light novel series and manga adaptation of I Was a Bottom-Tier Bureaucrat for 1,500 Years, and the Demon King Made Me a Minister.

FUNimation Entertainment to Stream the English Dub of the Goblin Slayer: Goblin’s Crown Theatrical Anime

The Fandom Post is reporting that FUNimation Entertainment will be streaming the English dub of the Goblin Slayer: Goblin’s Crown theatrical anime. According to the report, the company will stream the film between October 30, 2020 and November 5, 2020. As of this writing, it is not known which territories the stream will be available in.

Goblin Slayer: Goblin’s Crown opened in Japanese theaters on February 1, 2020. Crunchyroll began streaming the film in various territories in July 2020.

Crunchyroll to Release the Goblin Slayer: Goblin’s Crown Theatrical Anime on July 28, 2020

Crunchyroll has announced that it will host a digital event for its launch of the Goblin Slayer: Goblin’s Crown theatrical anime episode on July 28, 2020. Crunchyroll will be giving away a free digital poster signed by the director Takaharu Ozaki to eligible subscribers who stream the film before August 11, 2020. The anime will be available in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, the Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and Central and South America.

Goblin Slayer: Goblin’s Crown opened in Japanese theaters on February 1, 2020.

Yen Press Announces Six New Manga Titles for Future Publication

Yen Press, LLC has announced its latest publishing acquisitions, which include manga debuts for The White Cat’s Revenge as Plotted from the Dragon King’s Lap, Wolf & Parchment, and Sword Art Online Project Alicization. New light novels titles include A Certain Magical Index SS and Goblin Slayer Side Story II: Dai Katana, and a new art book acquisition for Keito Koume Illustrations: Spice & Wolf – The Ten Year Calvados.

Additional titles will be announced during the Yen Press Industry Panel at Anime Expo Lite on July 3, 2020.

Goblin Slayer: Brand New Day Manga to End in May 2019

The May 2019 issue of Square Enix’s Monthly Big Gangan magazine has announced that it will publish the final chapter of Masahiro Ikeno’s Goblin Slayer: Brand New Day spin-off manga in the magazine’s next issue on May 25, 2019.

The manga launched in May 2018 in Monthly Big Gangan, and it follows the people around the titular character. Yen Press is publishing the manga simultaneously with Japan.

Goblin Slayer Anime to Get New Episode

It has been announced that the Goblin Slayer anime is getting a new episode that will screen in theaters. The episode is titled Goblin Slayer: Goblin’s Crown, and it will feature returning staff and cast.

The television anime series premiered in Japan on October 6, 2018, and Crunchyroll streamed the series with subtitles as it aired. FUNimation Entertainment also streamed the series with an English dub.

Goblin Slayer Gaiden 2: Tsubanari no Daikatana Spin-off Manga Launches

Square Enix’s Manga Up! app has launched Takashi Minakuchi’s manga adaptation of Kumo Kagyu’s Goblin Slayer Gaiden 2: Tsubanari no Daikatana (Daikatana of Singing Death) serialized novel. The manga will also have a delayed serialization on Square Enix’s Gangan Online.

The novel, a spin-off of Kagyu’s Goblin Slayer novel series, launched on Gangan GA on September 27, 2018. The novel focuses on adventurers taking on the infamous “Dungeon of the Dead.”
