The First Episode of the Mob Psycho 100 II Anime Will Be Screened in U.S. Theaters

Crunchyroll has announced that it is teaming with Fathom Events for more installments in its Crunchyroll Movie Night theatrical event series in 2019. The first event for their collaboration will be a theatrical premiere of the first episode of Mob Psycho 100 II, along with the Mob Psycho 100 REIGEN: The Miraculous Unknown Psychic anime and a greeting from voice actor Setsuo Ito (Mob).

The screening will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 12:55 p.m. local time at more than 500 U.S. theaters. Tickets are on sale now for Crunchyroll subscribers and will go on sale for general audiences on December 7, 2018.

Crunchyroll, in Partnership With Fathom Events, Brings a Yuri!!! on ICE Series Marathon to U.S. Movie Theaters on October 13, 2018

In Fall 2018, anime fans are set to discover that nothing is better than big screen binge-watching the most critically-acclaimed sports anime ever released. Crunchyroll and Fathom Events will bring episodes one through 12 of Yuri!!! on Ice to select U.S. cinemas in a one day marathon with “Yuri!!! on Ice Series Marathon.” In addition to viewing the 12 episodes with friends and fellow fans, attendees will view a video message from the series’ producer along with a “hello” from Makkachin, Victor Nikiforov’s pet poodle.

“Yuri!!! on Ice Series Marathon” comes to a limited footprint of more than 95 U.S. cinemas on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at noon local time (subbed). A complete list of theater locations is available on the Fathom Events website (theaters and participants are subject to change).

Yuri!!! on Ice follows a Japanese figure skater, the titular Yuri Katsuki, his coach, Russian figure-skating champion Victor Nikiforov, and emerging Russian skater Yuri Plisetsky during the Figure Skating Grand Prix. In addition to winning numerous awards and fan polls, the lauded series also attracted praise from professional figure skaters, with some Olympians skating to music from the show at the 2018 Winter Olympics.

The series was produced by MAPPA, directed by Sayo Yamamoto, and written by Mitsurō Kubo. Figure skating choreographer, coach, and former competitive ice dancer Kenji Miyamoto choreographed the realistic skating sequences by performing the routines himself.

Toei and Fathom Events to Screen Three Remastered Dragon Ball Z Films in Fall 2018

Toei Animation and Fathom Events have announced that they will screen remastered versions of three Dragon Ball Z films in Fall 2018. All screenings will feature an English dub. Tickets will go on sale on June 27, 2018.

Dragon Ball Z: Broly – The Legendary Super Saiyan will screen on September 15 and 17, 2018.

Dragon Ball Z: Bardock – The Father of Goku and Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn will screen as a double feature on November 3 and 5, 2018.

Those attending the screenings will “view exclusive content and receive an exclusive trading card” while supplies last.

VIZ Media Teams With Fathom Events to Present Exclusive Sailor Moon Premiere Event Nationwide

VIZ Media will partner with levent cinema distributor, Fathom Events, to present a special series of Sailor Moon limited engagements set for July 2018 and August 2018 at more than 590 movie theaters across the United States. English Dub for the First Fate/stay night Heaven’s Feel Film to Debut in U.S. Theaters on June 5, 2018

Fathom Events and Aniplex of America have announced that the English dub of Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel I. presage flower, the first film in the Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel anime film trilogy, will premiere in theaters in the United States on June 5, 2018 and June 7, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. local time.

Tickets for the event will go on sale on May 4, 2018, and Fathom Events’ website will reveal a full list of participating theaters. The screenings will include exclusive bonus content featuring ADR director Tony Oliver and the English voice cast, who are reprising their roles from Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works.

Castle in the Sky to Screen in the United States on August 27 and 28, 2017

GKIDS and Fathom Events will be screening the Castle in the Sky anime film in theaters across the United States for a special two-day event on August 27 and 28, 2017.

Screenings on Sunday, August 27, 2017 will feature the English dub, while screenings on Monday, August 28, 2017 will present the film in Japanese with English subtitles. Tickets for the screenings can be purchased online.

Fathom Events Announces Details for the Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro Screenings

Fathom Events has announced that it will screen Hayao Miyazaki’s Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro anime film in the United States for two nights on September 14, 2017 and September 19, 2017. The former will be an English-dubbed screening, while the latter will be have the Japanese audio with English subtitles. Both screenings will be at 7:00 p.m. local time.

Fathom Events will release a complete list of theaters screening the film in the United States on August 18, 2017. Tickets will also be available to purchase on the same day.

The screenings celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Lupin III franchise.
