FUNimation Entertainment to Stream the Fate/Zero Anime

FUNimation Entertainment has announced that it will begin streaming the Fate/Zero television anime series on September 13, 2019. The company will stream the entire series in both English and Japanese with English subtitles in the United States and Canada.

The first season of the anime premiered in October 2011, and a second season followed in April 2012.

Aniplex of America will re-release the anime’s two box sets on October 25, 2019.

Aniplex of America’s Announcements at Anime Expo

Aniplex of America announced at its Anime Expo panel that the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba television anime will premiere with an English dub on Adult Swim’s Toonami block. The company did not announce a premiere date for the anime.

Fate/Zero Manga to Get an Extra Chapter on June 2, 2017

The June 2017 issue of Kadokawa’s Young Ace magazine is revealing that Shinjirō’s Fate/Zero manga is getting a “bangaihen” (extra) chapter in the July 2017 issue on June 2, 2017. The main manga is ending in the June 2017 issue on May 2, 2017.

The manga previously revealed that its 14th compiled book volume would be the last.

Shinjirō launched the manga in Kadokawa’s Young Ace magazine in 2011. Kadokawa published the manga’s 13th compiled book volume on December 31, 2016.

Dark Horse Comics licensed the manga in 2014 and released the fourth compiled volume on February 28, 2017.

Shinjirō’s Fate/Zero Manga to End on May 2, 2017

The May 2017 issue of Kadokawa’s Young Ace magazine has announced that Shinjirō’s Fate/Zero manga will end in the next issue on May 2, 2017.

Dark Horse Licenses the Fate/Zero Manga

Dark Horse Comics announced during the company’s panel at Kumoricon that the company has acquired the license for the Fate/Zero manga, which is an adaptation of Gen Urobuchi and Type/Moon’s original Fate/Zero light novel series.

As of this writing, no further information regarding Dark Horse’s release of the Fate/Zero manga was available.
