Ema Toyama Draws the Last Story in the Jimikon One-Shot Omnibus Series

The May 2019 issue of Kodansha’s Nakayoshi magazine has published the fourth and final installment of Ema Toyama’s Jimikon (A Plain Wedding) one-shot manga series. Kodansha will publish the four one-shots in a single compiled book volume in Summer 2019.

The “sweet wedding” one-shot series launched with the first one-shot in Nakayoshi in December 2016.

Ema Toyama to Launch New Manga in Shonen Sirius Magazine in April 2019

The May 2019 issue of Kodansha’s Monthly Shonen Sirius magazine has announced that Ema Toyama will launch a new manga in the magazine’s June 2019 issue on April 26, 2019. The new manga is titled Isekai de Saikyō Maō no Kodomo-tachi 10-nin no Mama ni Nacchaimashita. (I Became the Mother to the Strongest Demon Lord’s 10 Children in Another World).

Toyama’s other manga include Missions of Love, Aoba-kun’s Confessions, Manga Dogs, I Am Here!, Shugo Chara-chan!, Pixie Pop: Gokkun Pucho, and Vampire Dormitory.

Ema Toyama Publishes a One Shot Manga in Comic Yuri Hime Magazine

The May 2019 issue of Ichijinsha’s Comic Yuri Hime magazine has published a one shot manga titled “Nakasete? Sensei” by Ema Toyama. The manga is Toyama’s first work to appear in the magazine. The story focuses on a romance between a student and a teacher.

Toyama’s works include Missions of Love, Aoba-kun’s Confessions, Manga Dogs, I Am Here!, Shugo Chara-chan!, and Pixie Pop: Gokkun Pucho.

Information on Ema Toyama’s New Manga Series

The November 2018 issue of Kodansha’s Nakayoshi has revealed that Ema Toyama’s planned new manga series is titled, Vampire Dormitory. The magazine teases that the manga will have “heart-pounding scenes that go beyond Missions of Love.”

The manga will launch in the magazine’s next issue on November 2, 2018. The series will focus on an isolated beautiful young woman whose family is poor. One day she meets a handsome vampire named Luka.

Amazon Japan’s listing for the October 2018 issue of Kodansha’s Nakayoshi magazine is listing that the magazine will launch a new manga by Ema Toyama in the December 2018 issue, which will ship in early November 2018. The October 2018 issue will officially ship on September 3, 2018.

The October 2018 issue of Nakayoshi will also publish a one-shot by Toyama titled “Jimi Kon.” The magazine describes the one-shot’s story as focusing on a girl who vowed to marry her very plain childhood friend — now a math teacher — once she turned 16, but realizes that her friend has completely changed his attitude.

Toyama launched her Missions of Love romantic comedy manga in Nakayoshi magazine in 2009 and ended it in June 2015.

The September 2018 issue of Kodansha’s Nakayoshi magazine has announced that Ema Toyama will draw a one-shot manga titled “Jimi Kon” (Plain Marriage) in the magazine’s next issue on September 3, 2018.

The magazine describers the manga’s story as centering on a girl who vowed to marry her very plain childhood friend — now a math teacher — once she turned 16, but realizes that her friend has completely changed his attitude.

Toyama’s manga titles include Missions of Love, Aoba-kun’s Confessions, Manga Dogs, I Am Here!, Shugo Chara-chan!, and Pixie Pop: Gokkun Pucho.

Ema Toyama Ends Both the Missions of Love Couple Arc and the Aoba-kun’s Confessions Manga

Manga creator Ema Toyama has announced on Twitter that the July 2018 issue of Kodansha’s Nakayoshi magazine published the last chapter of both her Watashi ni xx Shinasai! Couple-hen (Missions of Love – Couple Arc) manga and her Aoba-kun’s Confessions (Aoba-kun ni Kikitai koto) manga on June 1, 2018.

Watashi ni xx Shinasai! Couple-hen is based on Toyama’s Missions of Love (Watashi ni xx Shinasai!) romantic comedy manga. The manga’s one compiled book volume will ship in Japan on June 13, 2018. Toyama launched the manga on March 2, 2018.

Toyama launched Aoba-kun’s Confessions in November 2015. Kodansha published the manga’s seventh volume in Japan on April 13, 2018.
