Eleven Arts to Distribute the Poupelle of Chimney Town Anime Film With an English Dub

Eleven Arts has announced that it is distributing the English version of Studio 4°C’s anime film of Akihiro Nishino’s Poupelle of Chimney Town (Entotsu-chō no Poupelle) picture book. The company is producing an English dub for the film that will debut in its screening at the Animation Is Film festival in Los Angeles on October 23, 2021. Director Yusuke Hirota and writer Akihiro Nishino will have a virtual Q&A after the screening of the film in the festival.

Eleven Arts Licenses the Gintama The Very Final Anime Film

Eleven Arts has announced that it has acquired the license for Gintama The Very Final (Gintama: The Final), the new anime film of Hideaki Sorachi’s Gintama manga.

Eleven Arts Is Bringing the First Two Sound! Euphonium Films to Digital Download

Crunchyroll is reporting that Eleven Arts will be making the first two Sound! Euphonium films (Sound! Euphonium~ Welcome To The Kaitauji High School Concert Band! and Sound! Euphonium~ May The Melody Reach You!) available on digital platforms on December 1, 2020.

The films recap the first and second seasons of the series, respectively. Both also contain new film-only scenes you won’t be able to see anywhere else.

Eleven Arts Licenses SHIROBAKO The Movie

Eleven Arts has announced that it has licensed SHIROBAKO The Movie (Gekijōban Shirobako), the anime film sequel of the SHIROBAKO television anime. Eleven Arts will unveil a trailer for the film at its Anime NYC industry panel on November 20, 2020 at 8:00 p.m. EST.

Eleven Arts and Shout! Factory to Release The Wonderland Anime Film on Home Video in October 2020

Eleven Arts and Shout! Factory have announced that they will release Keiichi Hara’s The Wonderland (Birthday Wonderland) anime film on Blu-ray Disc, DVD, and for digital purchase on October 6, 2020 in North America.

Eleven Arts screened the film in theaters in the United States and Canada on January 31, 2020.

The Wonderland opened in Japan in April 2019 and screened in competition at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival in June 2019. Fantasia Festival in Montreal, Canada also screened the film in July 2019. Crunchyroll Expo hosted the U.S. premiere of the film on August 30, 2019. The Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival in Spain screened the film in October 2019.
