Crunchyroll Adds the Dropkick on My Devil!! Dash Anime’s “Chapter Chitose” Episode

Crunchyroll has announced that it will add the “Chapter Chitose” episode of the Dropkick on My Devil!! Dash anime on April 30, 2020 at 11:30 a.m. EST. Dropkick on My Devil!! Dash is the second season of the anime adaptation of Yukiwo’s Dropkick on My Devil! (Jashin-chan Dropkick) manga, and the “Chapter Chitose” episode is labeled as the season’s 12th episode.

The episode was originally planned to debut before the anime’s second season, but the anime’s official website announced that the episode will also premiere on Amazom Prime Video worldwide on April 30, 2020.

Dropkick on My Devil!! Dash premiered on April 6, 2020 with 11 previous episodes. Crunchyroll is streaming all 11 episodes of the anime.

Crunchyroll Announces More Simulcasts for the Spring 2020 Season

Crunchyroll has announced that it will simulcast the Dropkick on My Devil!! Dash, Tsugumomo2, Major 2nd second series, Princess Connect! Re:Dive, and Sing “Yesterday” for Me anime as part of the Spring 2020 season.

Dropkick on My Devil!! Dash, the second season of the television anime of Yukiwo’s Dropkick on My Devil! (Jashin-chan Dropkick) manga, will premiere on April 6, 2020 at 11:30 a.m. EDT worldwide except in Asia.

Tsugumomo2 (Tsugu Tsugumomo), the second season of the Tsugumomo series, will premiere on April 5, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. EDT in English-speaking territories in North America, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Netherlands, and Scandinavia, and non-English speaking Europe, Middle East, Latin America, and Africa.

Crunchyroll will begin streaming the second anime series of Takuya Mitsuda’s Major 2nd baseball manga on April 4, 2020 at 7:00 a.m. EDT worldwide except in Asia.

The television anime of Cygames’ Princess Connect! Re:Dive smartphone game will premiere on April 6, 2020 at 12:30 p.m. EDT worldwide except in Asia.

Crunchyroll will begin simulcasting the television anime of Kei Toume’s Sing “Yesterday” for Me (Yesterday o Utatte) manga on April 4, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. EDT worldwide except in Asia.

The company also announced that it will begin streaming the IDOLiSH7 Second Beat! anime on April 5, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. EDT and the My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! anime on April 4, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. EDT.

Two New Cast Members Announced for the Second Season of the Dropkick on My Devil! Anime

A live-stream event for the anime based on Yukiwo’s Dropkick on My Devil! (Jashin-chan Dropkick!!) manga has revealed new cast members for the show’s second season:

  • Nanami Yamashita is Kyon-Kyon
  • Minami Tanaka is Oneechan (Kyon-Kyon’s older sister)

Nichika Omori is also reprising her role of Yurine Hanazono.

The staff had announced in October 2018 that if the Blu-ray Disc and DVD box sets of the show’s first season sell a combined 2,000 copies before January 20, 2019, executive producer Kouichirou Natsume would greenlight a second season of the show.

The first anime season premiered in Japan on July 9, 2018. The anime is streaming exclusively on Amazon Prime Video inside and outside of Japan.
