Crunchyroll Expo Announces Terumi Nishii as Guest

Crunchyroll Expo has announced that animation director Terumi Nishii will be a guest at its upcoming convention.

Nishii is an animation director and character designer, and she also draws the Crown of Ouroboros manga. She has worked as a character designer on such anime as Penguindrum, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable, Knights of the Zodiac: Saint Seiya, Haikara-San: Here Comes Miss Modern Part 1 and 2, Servant × Service, and A Town Where You Live. She has served as chief animation director on anime such as Penguindrum, Servant × Service, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable, and Fushigiboshi no Futago Hime.

Crunchyroll Expo will be taking place August 30-September 1, 2019 at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California.

Crunchyroll Announces Four New Additions to Its Anime Catalog

Crunchyroll has announced that it has added the Welcome, Chitose (Okoshiyasu, Chitose-chan) anime for users in the United States and Canada, with the first eight episodes already available. Eight new episodes will premiere every Wednesday.

The site also added the Osomatsu-kun, Swan Lake, and The Wonderful Wizard of Oz anime. Osomatsu-kun is available for users in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Norway, and Iceland. Swan Lake and The Wonderful Wizard of Oz are available for users in the United States and Canada, and Crunchyroll is streaming those titles with an English dub and English subtitles.

Crunchyroll Expo Announces Yasuharu Takanashi as Guest

Crunchyroll has announced that composer Yasuharu Takanashi will be a guest at their forthcoming Crunchyroll Expo event.

Takanashi has composed the music for a number of anime, including four anime from the Precure franchise: Fresh Pretty Cure, Heartcatch Precure!, Suite Precure, and Smile Precure!. He has also composed music for Naruto Shippūden, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, Sailor Moon Crystal, Fairy Tail, Ikki Tousen, Hell Girl, Gantz, Log Horizon, The Testament of Sister New Devil, ēlDLIVE, GeGeGe no Kitarō, and Zombie Land Saga.

Crunchyroll Expo will be held at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California from August 30-September 1, 2019.

Crunchyroll Adds the Kyo Kara Maoh! Anime

Crunchyroll has announced that it has added the first and second “seasons” (episodes 1-78) of the Kyo kara Maoh! anime for users in the United States and Canada, with both English subtitles and Japanese audio as well as the English dub.

The anime premiered in 2004 as an adaptation of Tomo Takabayashi’s light novel series. The anime was followed by a five-episode OVA sequel, Kyo kara Maoh! R, and the 39-episode Kyo kara Maoh! 3rd Series television anime.

Psybuster, The Adventures of the Little Prince, and Kimagure Orange Road are available in the United States and Canada. Photon: The Idiot Adventures is available in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Norway, and Iceland.

Photon: The Idiot Adventures and Psybuster are available with both an English dub and English subtitles.
