This year’s 40th issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine has announced a new cast member for the Black Clover anime:

  • Kaito Ishikawa is Langris Vaude

The character will premiere in the anime’s 48th episode titled “Despair vs. Hope” that will premiere on September 4, 2018.

Black Clover premiered in Japan in October 2017. Crunchyroll is streaming the series in Japanese with English subtitles, and FUNimation Entertainment is streaming the show’s English dub.

Black Clover to Get a Gag Manga Spin-off

This year’s eighth issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine has announced that Yūki Tabata’s Black Clover will get an official spin-off gag manga titled Asta-kun Mahōtei e no Michi (Asta’s Journey to Wizard King). The manga will launch on February 2, 2018 in the March 2018 issue of Shueisha’s Saikyō Jump magazine.

Tabata launched the Black Clover manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in February 2015. VIZ Media is publishing the series digitally and in print in North America.

Two more cast members have been announced for the Black Clover anime series:

  • Kenyuu Horiuchi is Lotus Whomalt
  • Yuichiro Umehara is Mars

Both of these characters are from the Diamond Kingdom, and will debut in the series in the 15th episode on January 16, 2018.

This year’s 51st issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine has announced that Ryotaro Okiayu will voice the character Heath Grice in the television anime of Yūki Tabata’s Black Clover manga. The cruel White Night Eye mage will debut in the 8th episode on November 21, 2017.

Black Clover premiered in Japan on October 3, 2017. Crunchyroll is streaming the series in Japanese with English subtitles and Funimation began streaming the show’s English dub on October 29, 2017.
