HIDIVE is also streaming Ao-chan Can’t Study!, NAMUAMIDABUTSU! -UTENA-, Senryū Girl, and Why the Hell are You Here, Teacher!?.

King of Prism: Shiny Seven Stars- will be simulcasting worldwide except in Asia, starting on April 15, 2019 at 2:05 p.m. EDT.

Ao-chan Can’t Study! is simulcasting in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Ireland, South Africa, the Netherlands, Scandinavia, and Central and South America. The simulcasting began with the first two episodes on April 12, 2019 at 9:40 p.m. EDT.

Sentai Filmworks Announces Three Anime Licenses

Sentai Filmworks has announced that it has licensed the Ao-chan Can’t Study!, Senryū Girl, and Why the Hell are You Here, Teacher!? television anime series. The company will stream the series during the Spring 2019 simulcast season, and will release all three series on home video. Sentai Filmworks has licensed all three anime worldwide outside of Asia.

Ao-chan Can’t Study! and Senryū Girl are scheduled to premiere in Japan on April 5, 2019.

Why the Hell are You Here, Teacher!? is scheduled to premiere in Japan on April 7, 2019.

More cast members have been announced for the forthcoming anime adaptation of the Ao-chan Can’t Study manga:

Three cast members have been announced for the forthcoming anime adaptation of the Ao-chan Can’t Study manga:

Ao-chan Can’t Study! Manga Ends

The January 2019 issue of Kodansha’s Shonen Magazine Edge has published the last chapter of Ren Kawahara’s Ao-chan Can’t Study! (Midara na Ao-chan wa Benkyō ga Dekinai) manga. Kawahara will launch a sequel manga in the magazine’s next issue on January 17, 2019 that focuses on a “slightly more grown-up” Ao-chan.

Kawahara launched the manga in Kodansha’s Shonen Magazine Edge in October 2015. Kodansha published the manga’s seventh compiled book volume on September 14, 2018. Kodansha Comics released the second volume digitally in English on November 27, 2018, and has scheduled the third volume for December 25, 2018.
