Anime Central Announces Natsumi Takamori as Guest

Anime Central has announced that voice actress Natsumi Takamori will be a guest at their upcoming convention.

Takamori’s credits include The IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls‘ Miku Maekawa, Another‘s Mei Misaki, Brave Witches‘ Nikka Edvardine Katajainen, The Pet Girl of Sakurasou‘s Misaki Kamiigusa, Denki-Gai‘s Hio-tan, High School DxD‘s Souna Sitri, Orange‘s Azusa Murasaka, Hōkago no Pleiades‘ Subaru, and Milky Holmes‘ Ellery Himeyuri.

She has also performed theme songs for such anime as The IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls, Brave Witches, Denki-Gai, Hōkago no Pleiades, Jewelpet Twinkle, Pretty Rhythm: Dear My Future, and The Pet Girl of Sakurasou.

Anime Central will be taking place May 17-19, 2019 at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare and Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois.

Anime Central Announces Tony Oliver as Guest

Anime Central has announced that voice actor Tony Oliver will be a guest at their upcoming convention.

Oliver’s credits include Robotech, .hack//GU, Daigunder, Gurren Lagann, Eureka Seven – good night, sleep tight, young lovers, Vandread, Bleach, GunGrave, and Chobits.

Anime Central will be taking place at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare and Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois from May 17-19, 2019.

Anime Central Announces Aya Suzaki as Guest

Anime Central has announced that voice actress Aya Suzaki will be a guest at their upcoming convention.

Suzaki’s credits include Kill la Kill‘s Mako, The IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls‘ Minami, Tamako Market‘s Tamako, Assassination Classroom‘s Kayano, and Release the Spyce‘s Mei. She also has contributed to theme song performances for a number of anime, including those listed above.

Anime Central 2019 Announces Kinema Citrus CEO Muneki Ogasawara as Guest

The Anime Central convention has announced that it will host anime studio Kinema Citrus CEO Muneki Ogasawara at next year’s event. Staff members from Kinema Citrus’ Revue Starlight, Made in Abyss, and The Rising of The Shield Hero anime will appear with Ogasawara.

Revue Starlight‘s director Tomohiro Furukawa, assistant director Takushi Koide, character designer Hiroyuki Saita, and daily outfit and prop designer Shiori Tani will attend. Made in Abyss‘ director Masayuki Kojima, composer Kevin Penkin, and music producer and director of IRMA LA DOUCE Hiromitsu Iijima will attend. Finally, The Rising of The Shield Hero’s director Takao Abo will also appear.

Anime Central 2019 will take place May 17-19, 2019 at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare and the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois.

Anime Central 2019 Announces Mai Nakahara as Guest

The Anime Central convention has announced that it will host voice actress Mai Nakahara at the convention’s 2019 event.

Nakahara debuted as a voice actress with the agency I’m Enterprise in 2000. Her anime credits include My-HiME and My-Otome (Mai Tokiha), Fairy Tail (Juvia Lockser), When They Cry – Higurashi (Rena Ryūgū), Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches (Karen Kimishima), Vampire Knight (Maria Kurenai), Kaleido Star (May Wong), Servant X Service (Saya Mihoshi), and Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse (Yui Takamura).

Her video game credits include Priere in Disgaea, Estellise Sidos Heurassein in Tales of Vesperia, Akagi in Azure Lane, Nakoruru in The King of Fighters XIV, Luchell in Summon Night 6: Lost Borders, and Yuzuha in Utawarerumono.

Anime Central Announces Kenichi Sonoda as Guest

Anime Central has announced that Kenichi Sonoda will be a guest for the world premiere of Bean Bandit episode 0.

Sonoda ran a successful Kickstarter campaign in May and June 2018 to fund the Bean Bandit anime. The project will meld elements of Riding Bean and Gunsmith Cats, and like these previous works it will take place in Chicago. Sonoda is directing the anime. Staff members include animator Shujirou Hamakawa and supervisor Showji Murahama.

Sonoda designed a number of ARTMIC projects including Bubblegum Crisis and Gall Force before creating Riding Bean and later Gunsmith Cats.

Bang Zoom! Entertainment

  • Aniplex of America confirmed at Bang Zoom! Entertainment’s panel that it will continue its English dub of March comes in like a lion with the second series.

Crunchyroll

  • Crunchyroll announced that it will stream the ISLAND, To Be Heroine, and The Master of Ragnarok & Blesser of Einherjar television anime series. The site also confirmed that it will stream the final six episodes of the Dies irae anime series starting in July 2018.

Vertical Comics

  • Vertical Comics has announced that it has licensed the Kino’s Journey and Clouds, North by Northwest manga. The company is planning to release Kino’s Journey in Summer 2019 and Clouds, North by Northwest in May 2019.

VIZ Media

  • VIZ Media announced it will screen both Sailor Moon S: The Movie (Sailor Moon S Movie: Hearts in Ice) and Sailor Moon SuperS: The Movie (Sailor Moon SuperS Movie: Black Dream Hole) in North America in Summer 2018. The Sailor Moon S: The Movie screening will also include an encore screening of Sailor Moon R: The Movie, and will take place on July 28, 2018 (dubbed) and July 30, 2018 (subtitled). The screening of Sailor Moon SuperS: The Movie will also screen the Sailor Moon SuperS Plus – Ami’s First Love short, and will take place on August 4, 2018 (dubbed) and August 6, 2018 (subtitled). Ticket sales for both screenings start on June 1, 2018. Fathom Events has opened a website for the screenings.
  • The company has announced that it has licensed Wako Ioka’s Kakuriyo: Bed and Breakfast for Spirits manga.
  • VIZ announced that is has licensed the Accel World: Infinite Burst anime film and the franchise’s two original video anime (OVA) releases. The film will have an exclusive screening at Anime Expo in July 2018.
  • It was also announced that the company will premiere R:B ~Blaze~, the first part in the six-part K: Seven Stories anime film project, at Anime Expo in July 2018.
  • The company announced that it will release the 13th volume of Yun Kouga’s Loveless manga in June 2018, and it will make the entire manga series available digitally.
