Crunchyroll Announces Three Simulcasts for the Spring 2019 Season

Crunchyroll has announced that it has added The Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls Gekijō Climax Season, Ace of Diamond Act II, and the fourth season of Shōnen Ashibe GO! GO! Goma-chan to its Spring 2019 simulcast lineup.

The Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls Gekijō Climax Season will launch worldwide outside of Asia at 8:55 a.m. EDT on April 2, 2019.

Ace of Diamond Act II will launch worldwide outside of Asia at 5:55 a.m. EDT on April 2, 2019.

The fourth season of Shōnen Ashibe GO! GO! Goma-chan will launch worldwide of outside Asia at 7:00 a.m. EDT on April 2, 2019.

A cast announcement has been made for the forthcoming anime adaptation of the Ace of Diamond Act II manga:

  • Yūma Uchida is Kōshū Okumura
  • Shintarō Asanuma is Yōichi Kuramochi
  • Natsuki Hanae is Haruichi Kominato
  • Shunsuke Takeuchi is Yūki Masashi
  • Daiki Yamashita is Takuma Seto
  • Ayumu Murase is Kaoru Yui
  • Tasuku Hatanaka is Hirofumi Asada

Ace of Diamond Act II is scheduled to premiere in Japan in 2019.

Two New Cast Members Announced for Ace of Diamond: Second Season

This year’s 41st issue of Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine is announcing that Jun Fukuyama and Subaru Kimura are joining the cast of the Ace of Diamond: Second Season television anime series. Fukuyama will voice the character Shinichirō Masu, and Kimura will voice the character Tsunematsu Ogawa. The magazine describes the characters as “Seikō Academy’s strongest uneven combination.”

Ace of Diamond Manga’s Second Part to Debut in August 2015

This year’s 32nd issue of Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine has announced that Yūji Terajima will launch the second part of his Ace of Diamond manga in the magazine’s 38th issue, which Kodansha will publish in Japan on August 19, 2015.

Terajima concluded the manga’s first part in January 2015, and had announced then that he planned to launch the second part of the manga in Spring 2015.

Terajima will also publish a 30-page one-shot “side story” for the Ace of Diamond manga in the 33rd issue on July 15, 2015. The manga will also adorn the front cover of the issue.

Terajima launched the Ace of Diamond baseball manga in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine in 2006, and Kodansha released the 46th volume on March 17, 2015. The manga won the shōnen category of the 34th Kodansha Manga Awards in 2010.

Kenichi Suzumura Joins the Cast of Ace of Diamond: 2nd Season

This year’s 27th issue of Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine is announcing that Kenichi Suzumura will play the character Nao Matsubara in the Ace of Diamond: Second Season TV anime series. The magazine describes the character as “the brains of Ugumori High School.” In the original manga, Matsubara is the manager of Ugumori High School’s baseball team.
