All of the titles except Akira are streaming in Japanese with English subtitles, and are available in their entirety unless otherwise noted. Akira is streaming with the Pioneer English dub.

Crunchyroll Adds A Certain Magical Index and Eureka Seven Films

Crunchyroll has announced that it has added the A Certain Magical Index: The Miracle of Endymion and Eureka Seven – good night, sleep tight, young lovers anime films to its catalog. Both films are available in the United States and Canada.

A Certain Magical Index: The Miracle of Endymion opened in Japan in February 2013.

Eureka Seven – good night, sleep tight, young lovers premiered in Japan in 2009.

FUNimation Sets Limited Theatrical Screenings for A Certain Magical Index: The Miracle of Endymion

FUNimation Entertainment has announced that the company has scheduled limited theatrical screenings for the A Certain Magical Index: The Miracle of Endymion anime film. FUNimation is working with the Alamo Drafthouse to do a one night showing on January 12, 2015 at the following locations:

  • Winchester, VA – 7:00 PM
  • Kansas City, MO – 7:30 PM
  • Loudoun, VA – 7:00 PM
  • Yonkers, NY – 7:00 PM
  • Lubbock, TX – 7:30 PM
  • Houston, TX (Vintage Park) – 7:30 PM
  • Austin, TX (Lakeline) – 7:00 PM

There will also be screenings at:

  • Katy, TX (Mason Park) – January 13, 2015 @ 7:30 PM
  • Richardson, TX – January 19, 2015 @ 7:00 PM

Yen Press’ Announcements at Sakura-Con

Yen Press announced during the company’s Sakura-Con panel that it has licensed the A Certain Magical Index light novel series, and that the title will be part of the company’s new Yen On imprint for novels this winter.

Yen On will also be the new umbrella imprint for the company’s previous novel offerings, such as Spice and Wolf, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Sword Art Online, and Accel World. The imprint will launch in Fall 2014, and Yen Press aims to publish about 24 books next year.
