GKIDS has announced on Twitter that it has acquired the North American rights for the 10 Years With Hayao Miyazaki documentary series. The documentary was directed by Kaku Arakawa, and it originally premiered in Japan in 2019.
Prior to acquiring the rights to all four parts of the documentary, the fourth episode was included as a bonus feature on GKIDS’ Blu-ray/DVD combo release of The Wind Rises.
As of this writing, there are no additional details available about how GKIDS plans to distribute the 10 Years With Hayao Miyazaki documentary series.
