It was announced at the “grand finale” screening of the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Scarlet Bond anime film that the third season of the anime is scheduled to premiere in Japan in Spring 2024.

The first That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime anime premiered in October 2018. Crunchyroll simulcast the series as it aired in Japan, and FUNimation Entertainment streamed an English dub. The second anime season premiered its first cour in January 2021, and the second cour premiered in July 2021. Both FUNimation and Crunchyroll simulcast the second part as it aired in Japan, and FUNimation also streamed an English dub.

The That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Scarlet Bond anime film opened in Japanese theaters on November 25, 2022, and it was screened in all major global territories (excluding Asia) in early 2023.
