The staff of the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Scarlet Bond anime film announced during an early screening in Tokyo on November 9, 2022 that the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime anime is getting a third season.

The first That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime anime premiered in October 2018. Crunchyroll simulcast the series as it aired in Japan, and FUNimation Entertainment streamed an English dub. The second anime season premiered its first cour in January 2021, with the second cour premiering in July 2021. Both FUNimation and Crunchyroll simulcast the second part as it aired in Japan, and FUNimation also streamed an English dub.

The That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Scarlet Bond anime film will open in Japanese theaters on November 25, 2022. Crunchyroll will screen the film in all major global territories (excluding Asia) in early 2023.
