The Fandom Post is reporting that GKIDS is rescheduling the release of the When Marnie Was There DVD/Blu-ray Steelbook from October 11, 2022 to October 31, 2022. Shout! Factory’s store is listing a November 8, 2022 release date. While no explicit reason has been given for the set being rescheduled, it was being reported on Twitter that customers who already received the set discovered that the spine for the release is blank.

The set features the original Japanese language with English subtitles as well as the English dubbed version.
