The Aniplex Online Fest 2022 event has announced that Rurouni Kenshin will be getting a reboot anime in 2023. The anime will re-adapt the main manga series.
Hideyo Yamamoto is directing the anime at LIDEN FILMS. Terumi Nishii is designing the characters, and Hideyuki Kurata is in charge of series composition. Yū Takami is composing the music.
Sōma Saitō stars in the series as Kenshin Himura, and Rie Takahashi costars as Kaoru Kamiya.

I don’t know, the original anime series was so good, I’m a little nervous about it getting re-booted. A part of me would love to see more Kenshin, and another part of me thinks “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!”
