Netflix announced during its Geeked Week livestream that the first part of The Seven Deadly Sins: Grudge of Edinburgh, the all-new two-part anime film project for Nakaba Suzuki’s The Seven Deadly Sins manga franchise, will debut on Netflix in December 2022. The films will focus on Meliodas’ son Tristan.

Bob Shirahata is directing the anime, with Noriyuki Abe as supervising director. Rintarou Ikeda is writing the script for the film. Alfred Imageworks and Marvy Jack are animating the film.
