The production committee for the Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie anime has announced through the show’s website that the series will be seeing some episode delays due to the previously reported closure of anime studio Doga Kobo from April 6-17, 2022 due to a mass outbreak of COVID-19 infections between staff members. The website confirms the schedule of each episode going forward including two special programs on May 21, 2022 and June 11, 2022 that will air in place of the anime.

Here is the current schedule for future Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie anime broadcasts:

• May 14, 2022 – Episode 6 is scheduled to air
• May 21, 2022 – The first special program is scheduled to air
• May 28, 2022 – Episode 7 is scheduled to air
• June 4, 2022 – Episode 8 is scheduled to air
• June 11, 2022 – The second special program is scheduled to air
• June 18, 2022 – Episode 9 is scheduled to air
• June 25, 2022 – Episode 10 is scheduled to air
• July 2, 2022 – Episode 11 is scheduled to air
• July 9, 2022 – Episode 12 is scheduled to air

The first special program will be a re-airing of the first episode of Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie with an audio commentary from the cast, while the second special program will look back at popular scenes from the series thus far.
