KimoKawaii is a community-oriented event that puts fans and attendees at the center of the action through interactive run-up events, social media challenges, competitions, and on-site activities. “I wanted to do more than just have a room with anime merch and noodle bowls. I want to give attendees the chance to interact with anime in a way that they have never been able to before. We’re filling the event with content-creation stations, sets, props, and more. We’re even producing our own anime onsite that attendees get to be part of,” says Chris Carson, founder/president and noted local artist who in his decades-long career has helped many artists succeed at the career of their dreams.

Fans attending KimoKawaii not only get the full-on culture, art, and over-the-top adventure of the Japanese-themed festival called an anime convention, they also get to be voice actors in a real anime produced by KimoKawaii.
