Date A Live IV Anime Is Scheduled to Premiere in April 2022

The Fandom Post is reporting that the Date A Live IV anime is scheduled to premiere on Japanese television in April 2022. The series was originally scheduled to premiere in October 2021, but had been delayed to 2022 for “various reasons.”

Jun Nakagawa is directing the anime at Geek Toys. Fumihiko Shimo is overseeing the series scripts, Naoto Nakamura is designing the characters, and Go Sakabe is returning from the previous three anime to compose the music.

The first season of the Date A Live television anime adaptation aired 12 episodes and premiered in 2013. The second season aired 10 episodes and premiered in 2014. FUNimation Entertainment simulcast the first and second seasons as they aired in Japan. The third season premiered in January 2019 and aired for 12 episodes. Crunchyroll simulcast the series as it aired, and FUNimation offered a simuldub.
