The official website for The Quintessential Quintuplets the Movie sequel anime film has announced that the film is scheduled to open in Japanese theaters on May 20, 2022. The film’s runtime will exceed 130 minutes.

The first season of The Quintessential Quintuplets premiered on Japanese television in January 2019. Crunchyroll simulcast the season, and FUNimation Entertainment streamed an English dub. The second season premiered on Japanese television on January 7, 2021. Crunchyroll simulcast the second season, and FUNimation Entertainment streamed an English dub.
