The wraparound jacket band on the ninth volume of Daisuke Hiyama’s Peter Grill and the Philosopher’s Time manga has announced that the manga’s television anime will have a second season. The staff of the anime will reveal more details for the second season at a later date.

The story of Peter Grill and the Philosopher’s Time is described as:

Upon winning a fighting tournament and being crowned the world’s strongest warrior, Peter Grill discovers a downside to his newfound fame. Women of all species, from ogres to elves, are scrambling over each other for his seed to ensure they have the strongest babies possible. Poor Peter just wants to settle down with his lovey dovey fiancée, but he’ll have to outmatch, outwit, and outrun a harem of very determined monster girls to do so.

The first season of Peter Grill and the Philosopher’s Time premiered in July 2020. Sentai Filmworks licensed the series for home video and digital release, and HIDIVE and Crunchyroll both simulcast the anime as it aired in Japan. HIDIVE also streamed an English dub.
