The official Twitter account for The Quintessential Quintuplets anime announced that The Quintessential Quintuplets the Movie sequel anime film will open in Japanese theaters in early Summer 2022.

The first season of The Quintessential Quintuplets premiered on Japanese television in January 2019. Crunchyroll simulcast the season, and FUNimation Entertainment streamed an English dub. The second season premiered on Japanese television on January 7, 2021. Crunchyroll simulcast the second season, and FUNimation Entertainment streamed an English dub.
