FUNimation Entertainment has announced that it will begin simulcasting the Taisho Otome Fairy Tale anime on October 8, 2021, which will be day and date with its Japanese broadcast. The anime is based on Sana Kirioka’s manga of the same name.

Jun Hatori is directing the Taisho Otome Fairy Tale anime at Synergy SP. Mayu Watanabe is designing the characters, and Hiroko Fukuda is both writing and overseeing the series scripts. Yasuharu Takanashi is composing the music. The cast includes Yusuke Kobayashi as Tamahiko Shima and Saya Aizawa as Yuzuki Tachibana.
