Pluto TV Adds the Eat-Man ’98 Anime

The Fandom Post is reporting that Pluto TV has added the Eat-Man ’98 anime to its service. The series is available in the United States and Canada with the original Japanese audio and English subtitles.

Animated by Studio Deen, the series was directed by Koichi Mashimo who also handled the scripts, worked on the storyboards and handled the series overall composition. It’s based on the 19 volume manga series from Akihito Yoshitomi.

The story of Eat-Man is described as:

Meet Bolt Crank, mercenary extraordinaire, and the man who eats metal. Through his travels, he stops along the way to make a few bucks and occasionally rescue damsels in distress. His taste for metal gives him quite an edge as he becomes capable of generating an assortment of weapons from his hand. It’s a strange ability, but it seems to come in handy, so to speak. Bolt has an edge over his adversaries, but will that be enough?
