The official Twitter account for The Quintessential Quintuplets anime has announced that the The Quintessential Quintuplets the Movie sequel will open in 2022. The film news came during the evening session of “The Quintessential Quintuplets ∬ Special Event 2021 in Nakano Sun Plaza.”

The first season of The Quintessential Quintuplets premiered on Japanese television in January 2019. Crunchyroll simulcast the season, and FUNimation Entertainment streamed an English dub. The second season premiered on Japanese television on January 7, 2021. Crunchyroll simulcast the second season, and FUNimation Entertainment streamed an English dub.
