Tubi TV Adds the True Tears Anime

The Fandom Post is reporting that Tubi TV has added the True Tears anime. The series is available in its original Japanese language with English subtitles.

The show was part of the Winter 2008 season and ran for 13 episodes. It previously saw a release in North America through Bandai Entertainment, and Bandai Visual brought it out for streaming on Hulu back in 2013. Discotek license rescued the series in 2016.

The story of True Tears is described as:

Shinichiro Nakagami is a high-school boy who lives with his parents and his childhood friend Hiromi who has been taken in by the Nakagami family one year ago. But he wonders why she’s always so reserved at home while she’s so active at school. One day, Shinichiro meets a strange girl – Noe (who has climbed up a tree in the school backyard and is unable to get down). She confesses to him that she has been unable to cry since a specific happening in her childhood. The changes from that day on in Shinichiro’s relation with Hiromi, Noe and his other friends will be depicted in an utmost delicate way, with detailed & beautiful views of their city on the Japan-sea.
