The Fandom Post is reporting that FUNimation Entertainment will be simulcasting The Day I Became a God anime as part of the Fall 2020 anime season. As of this writing, an exact premiere date and territory availability have not been announced.

Yoshiyuki Asai is directing the anime. Na-Ga designed the characters, and Manabu Nii is adapting the designs for animation. Jun Maeda is writing the scripts.

The Day I Became a God is scheduled to premiere on Japanese television on October 10, 2020.
