HIDIVE has announced that it will begin streaming the Moribito – Guardian of the Spirit anime series on September 29, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. EDT in Japanese with English subtitles and with an English dub. The anime will stream in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Latin America, Scandinavian countries, the Netherlands, Spain, and Portugal.

Sentai Filmworks has licensed the anime for home video and digital release. VIZ Media previously licensed the series in 2014 and released it digitally and physically on Blu-ray Disc and DVD in North America. Media Blasters also previously licensed the series and released it on home video in North America between 2009-2011.
